Dubai sold 335 homes worth $10 million (AED 36.7 million) or more between January and August 2026. That is about 1.4 a day. The figures come from an analysis of Dubai Land Department (DLD) data by fäm Properties, published in September 2026.
Together the deals add up to roughly AED 20.4 billion: 206 villas worth AED 11.7 billion and 129 apartments worth AED 8.67 billion.
What was the most expensive home sold in Dubai in 2026?
The biggest deal was an AED 422 million home at Aman Residences in Jumeirah 2. It has six bedrooms and 31,201 sq ft, and it was bought off-plan at about AED 13,525 per sq ft. The same project also produced the No. 2 deal, at AED 356.2 million for a six-bedroom home.
The rest of the top six, all bought off-plan:
- La Mer villa, Jumeirah 1: AED 350 million, seven bedrooms
- The Alba Residences, Palm Jumeirah: AED 225.9 million, six bedrooms
- Peninsula Residences, Jumeirah 2: AED 210 million, five bedrooms
- Bugatti Residences by Binghatti, Business Bay: AED 200 million, five bedrooms
Four of the six carry a hotel or car brand name. In July 2026, a Palm Jumeirah villa also sold for AED 170 million, according to Property Finder.

Where do $10M villa buyers go?
Not to the Palm first. MBR City led villa sales above $10 million with 48 deals, at an average of AED 57.8 million. Palm Jebel Ali came second with 43 (average AED 47.4 million), and Palm Jumeirah third with 28 (average AED 66.2 million).
For apartments, Palm Jumeirah is No. 1 with 35 sales, followed by Jumeirah 2 with 31.
What does the money actually buy?
The same budget can buy very different homes. In the top villa deals of the period, AED 134 million in Emirates Hills bought nine bedrooms. AED 145 million for a Signature Villa on Palm Jumeirah bought six. Both were resales. On the Palm, you pay for the beach.

What was the average deal?
Dividing the totals by the number of deals gives a rough picture. The 206 villas averaged about AED 56.8 million each. The 129 apartments averaged about AED 67.2 million each, which is higher because the biggest off-plan penthouses and branded residences are apartments. The 1.4 a day figure comes from 335 deals over the 243 days from January to August.
What does this mean if you are buying?
At the very top of the market, homes rarely wait for a buyer, and every one of the six biggest deals was off-plan. If you buy off-plan, pay only into the project’s escrow account and check the completion date registered with the Land Department before you sign. Compare price per square foot, not just the headline price: the Aman record works out at about AED 13,525 per sq ft.
These numbers cover January to August 2026 only. Sales in the final four months of the year will change the full-year total.
